WHAT WE DO
PMI partners with countries to provide people with mosquito nets, ensure homes are sprayed with insecticides, and distribute preventive medicines for children and pregnant women. It invests in research and new tools to combat malaria, and monitor and evaluate progress of PMI-supported programs. PMI trains the health workers that provide the service which contributes to building resilient health systems.
PMI collaborates closely with partner countries to scale up proven interventions and strengthen local capacity and health systems. We also invest in research and new tools to combat malaria, and monitor and evaluate progress and impact of PMI-supported programs.
