The US Supports the DRC in the Fight Against Malaria

Rear Admiral Tim Ziemer, President Obama’s Global Malaria Coordinator, was in Kinshasa to demonstrate the United States’ support for the fight against malaria in the DRC. Admiral Ziemer visited a maternal and child health center in Burumbu to pass out insecticide-treated mosquito nets, a proven method of prevention against malaria.
