In his statement on April 25, 2022, President Joe Biden recognized the strong progress made in the fight against malaria, as well as the work that still needs to be done to eliminate one of the world’s oldest and deadliest pandemics.

“My Administration is committed to making the vision of a malaria-free future a reality. Together, we can build a safer, more prosperous, and more equitable world for everyone.”

Later this year President Biden will host the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria’s Replenishment Conference, working with partners around the world to accelerate the fight against malaria and advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of universal access to health care, increased child survival, and health and wellbeing for all.
