PMI in POLITICO Global Pulse after strategy release, WHO vaccine recommendation

U.S. Global Malaria Coordinator Dr. Raj Panjabi spoke with POLITICO’s Carmen Paun for the Global Pulse newsletter about the recently released 2021-2016 PMI strategy and the WHO recommendation of the RTS,S malaria vaccine.

“Since this vaccine is coming at a time when progress on malaria has stalled, there’s hope that it could help along with the other tools to revive progress,” Panjabi said.
