This week’s Roll Back Malaria (RBM) Partnership Board meeting has resulted in tremendous progress for the Partnership. Board members gathered in Geneva on Tuesday 27 September and spent two days finalizing the future form and function of the Partnership mechanisms as well as engaging in a rich and productive workshop about how the Partnership should effectively engage to achieve the vision of ending malaria through the three strategic pillars of advocacy and resource mobilization, strategic communications, and country/regional support.
Board Chair Dr Winnie Mpanju-Shumbusho welcomed the Board, commending the tremendous amount of ongoing work being done within the RBM Partnership by hundreds of committed and dedicated partners including the importance of continued country support around Global Fund financing and the activities of the technical working groups.
