The President’s Malaria Initiative looks forward to participating in the 65th annual meeting of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene in Atlanta. See below for a list of PMI-supported symposia, scientific sessions, and poster presentations.

During a special symposium on November 14 at 1:45 – A Decade of U.S. Government Commitment to Combatting Malaria and Saving Lives: The President’s Malaria Initiative, 2006-2015 – PMI leadership will discuss the Initiative’s strategic vision and implementation approach and National Malaria Control Program directors from Tanzania and Senegal will describe their partnerships with PMI.

Also, PMI and partners are hosting a TropMed Fireside Chat, during which experts in the malaria field discuss progress and challenges in the fight against malaria, the quest for new tools, and the pathway to elimination. Join us on Monday, November 14 from 12-1:30PM: Log on to Twitter and search for the hashtag #TropMedChat. You’ll then be able to participate in the conversation and pose questions to experts in the “hot seat!”
