USAID Names Dr. Bernard Nahlen to be Deputy Coordinator, President’s Malaria Initiative

Rear Admiral Timothy Ziemer (U.S. Navy, retired), the President’s Malaria Coordinator, announced his intent to name Dr. Bernard Nahlen to serve as Deputy Coordinator of the President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI). Dr. Nahlen is a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Public Heath Service and has most recently served as Senior Advisor, Monitoring and Evaluation, at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
